Fred Zinner was a Belgian all-round track and field athlete who represented RFC Liège. Zinner competed in the pentathlon at the 1924 Paris Olympics, finishing 26th out of the 30 athletes who participated. Despite a poor result at the Paris Games he went on to win six Belgian titles with victory in the 200 metres (1926), pentathlon (1927), discus throw (1928), and three consecutive titles in the decathlon (1929–31). Zinner returned to the Olympics for the 1928 Amsterdam Games, running in the 100 metres and the 4 × 100 metres relay, as well as competing in the discus throw.
