Adolfo Porrata

Adolfo Porrata played basketball for Puerto Rico at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics and helped coach the team at 1972 München. Porrata won a silver medal in basketball at the 1966 Central American and Caribbean Games. He played college basketball in the United States at New York University.

Porrata eventually settled in the USA, first in Bluffton, South Carolina where he worked in sales for Corning Glass. He later worked in sales and management for Tuthill Fill-Rite and Cable-Craft in Fort Wayne, Indiana for their businesses throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and South America before retiring in 2018.
