Biography

Hilde Klusenwerth was eliminated in the heats of the 80 hurdles at the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games. She was a very versatile athlete who also competed in pentathlon, discus, and high jump. She was also a good hockey player and from 1928-33 and in the 1940s was a German champion in handball. Klusenwerth also played tennis well into her later years. Her son Raimund le Viseur made himself a name as a journalist and writer, writing for the German magazines “Quick”, “Bunte” and “Playboy”.
