Biography

Born in the Dutch East Indies in 1887 Victor Henny later moved to the Netherlands where he took up track sprinting in Den Haag. In 1908 Henny became the Dutch champion in the 100 metres, earning himself a place on the Olympic team. At the 1908 London Games he ran in the 100, 200, and 400 metres but did not advance from the heats in any of them. He was also part of the Dutch quartet that ran in the 1,600 metres medley relay.
