Karl Borner was a Swiss citizen, starting for some German clubs in the 1920s. He was Swiss Champion in the 100 meters in 1924, 1927 and 1929, and the 200 in 1927 and 1929. At the 1924 Paris Olympic Games he was eliminated in the heats over 100 and 200, and the Swiss sprint relay was disqualified in the final. Borner was also entered for Switzerland in the 1936 Olympic 4x100 relay but did not start.
Personal Bests: 100 – 10.7 (1926); 200 – 21.8 (1927).
