Biography

August Waibel was a Swiss track and field athlete who competed as a sprinter. Waibel ran in the 100 and 200 metres at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics but did not advance from the heats in either race. Along with Walter Leibundgut, Adolf Rysler, and Josef Imbach, he was also part of the Swiss quartet that ran in the 4 x 100 metres relay.
