Biography

On leaving Lewis Institute, Bill Hogensen enrolled at the University of Chicago, and at the 1904 Olympics he represented the Chicago AA. In St. Louis, Hogensen finished third behind Archie Hahn and Nate Cartmell in both the 100 m and 200 m, but in the 60 m, which Cartmell skipped, he moved up to take a silver medal.

Personal Bests: 100 – 11.0 (1904); 220y – 22.0 (1905).
