Willie May was selected for the 1908 Olympic team based on his running 9.8 for 100 y in 1907. He did not place in any of the 1908 Olympic Trials events. May attended the University of Chicago. He worked for many years as a buyer for Montgomery Ward, first in Chicago and later in New York.
