Bronislav Danda was a left winger who played over 350 games in the Czechoslovak club leagues. He started out with Rapid Pardubice, but switched to Zbrojovka Brno in 1951. In 1953 he joined Ruda Hvezda (RH) Brno, playing there until 1967, with the club called ZKL Brno from 1963-67. Danda finished his career with a single season in Italy, playing for Auronzo HC in 1968-69. Danda won 11 national titles with RH/ZKL Brno. He also played football in the top Czechoslovakian league with Zbrojovka Brno.
Danda played for Czechoslovakia at the 1952, 1956, and 1960 Olympics. He also played at the 1953-55 and 1961 World Championships, winning a bronze medal in 1955 and a silver medal in 1961. He later worked as a coach in Italy and Yugoslavia.
