Gabriel Fourmigue became a world junior champion in bobsleigh. Fourmigue was then selected to represent France at the 1992 Albertville and 1994 Lillehammer Olympics. After the Olympics, he became a sports teacher working in the Pyrenees. In July 2022, Fourmigue and his partner, Aurelie Pardon, were both shot dead, with the main suspect being Pardon’s former partner.
