Jim Osborne competed at the tennis demonstration events held alongside the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, playing in Guadalajara. Osborne turned professional and had most of his success playing doubles. He won five professional doubles titles, playing mostly with his 1968 Olympic teammate Jim McManus. Osborne’s biggest win was at the 1972 Queen’s Club grass court tournament.
