Between March and June 2004 she reached the final of four WTA doubles tournaments with her Australian partner Lisa McShea, with the pair winning three titles. In 2003 Sequera reached the final of the Challenge Bell tournament in Québec where she played against Mariya Sharapova but was forced to retire from the match after the first set. In 2000 Sequera partnered María Alejandra Vento in the doubles at the Sydney Olympics but lost to the Belgian duo of Els Callens and Dominique Van Roost in the quarter-finals.
