Very little is known about Paul Van den Broek. At the 1924 Winter Olympics, he competed in both the bobsleigh and ice hockey events. In the former, he helped Belgium earn a bronze medal, along with Charles Mulder, René Mortiaux, Victor Verschueren and Henri Willems. In the ice hockey, he was less successful, as Belgium lost all of its matches.
