Biography

Jean Proess was a track and field athlete from Luxembourg who specialised as a sprinter. Proess ran in both the 400 and 800 metres at the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics but did not progress from the heats in either race. He had better success in the 4 × 100 metres relay, with the quartet of Proess, Jean Colbach, Paul Hammer, and Alex Servais finishing sixth in the final.
