Biography

Alex Servais was a track and field athlete who competed for Luxembourg in the 1920s. Servais had the honour of being the flagbearer for Luxembourg at the Opening Ceremony of the 1920 Antwerpen Olympics. Along with Jean Colbach, Paul Hammer, and Jean Proess he was part of the quartet that finished in sixth in the 4 × 100 metres relay. Servais also ran in the 100 metres and finished 21st in the javelin with a best throw of 40.080 metres.
