In this competition, the shooters took 30 shots with a military revolver from 20 metres, with 300 possible points. Switzerland’s Louis Richardet won the gold medal with 253, which was one of his three gold medals won in 1906. He also won a silver medal in Athina, added to the two gold medals he won at the 1900 Olympics. The runner-up was Greece’s Alexandros Theofilakis, who shot at the 1896, 1906, 1908, 1912, 1920, and 1924 Olympics. This was the only individual Olympic medal he won, but he added a team silver medal in 1920 at Antwerp.
