The shooters took 30 shots with a military revolver from 20 metres, with a 300 possible. Switzerland’s Louis Richardet won the gold medal with 253, which was one of his three gold medals won in 1906. He also won a silver medal in Athina, added to the two gold medals he won at the 1900 Olympics. The runner-up was Greece’s Alexandros Theofilakis, who shot at the 1896, 1906, 1908, 1912, 1920, and 1924 Olympics. This was the only individual Olympic medal he won, but he added a team silver medal in 1920 at Antwerp.
