Biography

Three-time Austrian Olympian diver between 1964-72, Inge Pertmayr won the silver medal at the 1966 European Championships in the platform event. At Olympic Games she came 16th (1964) and 19th (1968) from the springboard. In the platform events Pertmayr was even more successful finishing sixth (1964), ninth (1968) and eighth (1972).

Domestically Pertmayr won the Austrian national title in platform from 1961-72 and in springboard from 1964-72. She dominated the Austrian diver scene in the 1960s through to the early 1970s.
