The prominent favorites entering the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris did not disappoint and swept the park podium.

Australia’s Keegan Palmer successfully defended his men’s park skateboarding title from Tokyo 2020, becoming the first back-to-back gold medalist in the event. His impressive first run of 93.11 set a benchmark none could surpass.

American skater Tom Schaar secured the silver medal, while Brazil’s Augusto Akio delivered a standout final run to capture the bronze, narrowly edging out his countryman, 2020 Olympic silver medalist Pedro Barros by just 0.2 points.

Veteran, 51-year-old Andy MacDonald made history as the oldest skateboarder to compete in the Olympic Games, representing Great Britain and finishing 18th.

The event was notable not only for the high level of competition but also for the presence of skateboarding legend Tony Hawk and entertainer Snoop Dogg among the spectators.
