Four British shooters tied for first in this event and the places were decided by examination of the targets. The winner, John Fleming, was a long-time member of the City Rifle Club and from 1914-1918 was an instructor at the National Rifle Association’s (NRA) School of Musketry. He was in the King’s Hundred in 1934 and was a life member of the NRA.
