Italy easily won the team all-around, as they had in 1912 and 1920, and would also in 1932. Nine nations competed in the team event, with France winning silver, after a bronze in 1920, and Switzerland bronze, although in 1928 the Swiss would interrupt the Italian streak by winning the gold medal in Amsterdam.
